PROFESSIONAL BIO~

Adam Mosston is an Emmy-award winning producer and the Content Director of Ellis River Media. His career in television started in 1966 when he first appeared on his father’s television program on WCBS in New York at the age of 6. By the age of 14 he was creating his own short videos and has been involved in the video business in various capacities ever since.

Adam has participated in some of the most important broadcast innovations in the last 25 years:

• He was part of a shooting and producing team that created “Street Cop” a documentary that was the precursor to “Cops” and a myriad of other programs of the genre.
  
  
• Was one of the first adopters of small-format technology for network programming.
  
  
• In the early 1990’s, was on the forefront of the so-called “Reality Programming” trend by producing first person “Video Diaries” for ABC News, PBS, Nike and others.
  
  
• Part of the first live broadcast ever seen from a battlefield, at the start of Gulf War I.

Adam’s experience includes working on a network level both on the production and editorial side, as well as having a background in corporate and commercial production. His experience has run the gamut from multi-camera network production to “guerrilla video” with a single DV camera. His clients have included ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, BBC and many others.

Some of Adam’s news and documentary assignments have included: The first Gulf War, The US Invasion of Panama, Waco, The Oklahoma City Bombing, The Ebola Virus, Life as a Street Cop, Life in an Emergency room, a travel log to the bottom of the world, Terrorism in Peru, Taking the Heat in Tom Colicchio’s kitchen at the Gramercy Tavern, Mountain with out Mercy, The Everest Story, Apollo’s Story – Life as a Gang Leader in South Central Los Angeles and many more.

For the last 10 years Adam has set his sights on digital media that is in reach for most businesses. He has traveled to over 30 countries around the world interviewing entrepreneurs and CEO’s for short, compelling videos on their companies.
